PhpSNS module license upgrade to Phpfox v2.0 - Nov 21, 2009

We have a special announcement to make regarding to Phpfox v2.0 module upgrades from Phpfox v1.6. For any of the PhpSNS module licenses for Phpfox 1.6 that have been purchased in 2009 (since January 1st) will be automatically entitled for free upgrades for the new PhpSNS v2.0 platform.

The PhpSNS modules upgrade releases from the old versions for Phpfox v2.x will use the same 2.x version number system (new module releases will use 1.0 as usual). Not all modules will be ported to Phpfox v2.0, because some of the modules will be obsolete in the new platform. We have the following in mind:

Modules that will be 100% ported:

1. Pet Mod
2. Dig News

Modules that will "most probably" ported:

1. Restriction Controller
2. Chameleon DHTML Menu
3. Message Alert Bar

Modules that will "probably" ported:

1. Lightweight Forum (may be reborn as extended version of default Phpfox v2.0 forum)
2. Fox Search
3. Job Fetcher
4. WYSIWYG Editor

Modules that will not be ported:

1. Pragmatic Name Changer

For any new modules that will be released for the new Phpfox 2.0 platform will also be available for Phpfox 1.6, so you don't have to worry about additional upgrade fees when you upgrade your site to Phpfox 2.0.

For license holders that have purchased modules prior to 2009, there will be upgrade fee of 50%.
